Qatar Adventures with the O's: Happy Halloween!

Well, Halloween has come and gone and it sure wasn't the same as in Town of Tioga..... I saw that Tioga was as busy as ever this year! So sad to have missed all the chaos! We did have a great time here in Doha though!

We spent the day putting up some decorations in the front yard so trick or treaters would know to stop at our villa. Then we headed to the pool with a friend of Chase's from school and his brother, sister, and mom since their compound wasn't doing anything for Halloween. They are a very sweet family and all the kids had fun playing with them. They are from England and have only lived here about 8 months.

The compound had all the kids meet up at the front office to head out to trick or treat and I was really surprised how many kids turned up! There must have been at least 100 or more kids there! And this was right in the middle of a week off of school, so most of the kids we have met here were out of town! Lots of houses had candy and a few even were really decorated pretty well (although nothing like Tioga). One house had the coolest thing that I want to get for our house next year. It was a bubble fogger (which is like a bubble machine but when the bubbles pop they turn into smoke.) It was sooo cool to see and the kids loved it! The family said they got it in Canada so I bet I can find it on Amazon. Here are some pictures of the night:

Butterfly Fairy and Rainbow Fairy (aka Tillie and Avery)

Jester(Ingrid -- twin's mom), Skeleton Zombie (Jack), Werewolf (Chase's friend Charlie), Ghost one (Jordy), Ghost 2 (Leon), Wizard (Chase), Genie (Natalie) The Ghosts are the twins who live in our compound that we met this week. Charlie is in Chase's class at school and Jack is his older brother. Tillie in the first pic with Avery is Charlie's little sister.
