One of the major attractions in Abu Dhabi is Ferrari World. It is a huge theme park that is completely inside! Perfect to have in the middle east! We were so super lucky that the day we went there were absolutely no crowds or lines. The only wait at all was 30 minutes for one roller coaster. Otherwise, we were able to walk right onto every single ride. Obviously the theme is Ferrari and speed so most rides were "car themed". They also had amazing displays of real Ferraris and rides showing the history of Ferrari, how they make a Ferrari engine, etc. We had a blast here!
Ferrari World is home to the world's FASTEST roller coaster. I didn't exactly realize what that would mean until it was already going. The roller coaster itself was outside and the cars are open on the top and sides. The car accelerates to 147 mph in the first 5 seconds of the ride and never slows down! Literally you can feel your lips peeling back! They make you wear eye goggles so stuff doesn't fly in your eyes! I LOVE roller coasters and even I had to close my eyes for part of it. Poor Natalie, who doesn't particularly like roller coasters, kept her eyes closed the entire time. It was a huge adrenaline rush that is for sure! Avery, who is a major daredevil, wasn't tall enough to ride it this time so Bobby and I took turns going. Glad I can check that one off the bucket list of life!
