Bobby, Mom, Ron, and I went to Bir Zekreet just outside of Doha. This area of the desert reminds me of Arizona in many ways. Limestone rock has been shaped by the weather over many years into beautiful formations much like those found in Sedona and near the Grand Canyon, but on a smaller scale.
We also made a stop to see the area where the camel racing occurs. We decided that people probably come to the USA and think our deer crossing signs are funny like we think Camel signs are funny.
