We received an email from the PE coach at school saying Chase had been selected to play in the International School Football Tournament for grade 2 and 3 boys in Doha. Bobby sent me an email saying, "guess we better get out and practice throwing and catching". I busted out laughing! Only in the United States is football actually a sport not played with the feet much at all, but mostly with the hands....
Of course what the PE coach was referring to was a soccer tournament. Chase was super excited to be selected! While ACS didn't place overall, the boys won 3 games, tied 1, and lost 2. We were so proud of them and the kids all had a great time.
