When we arrived, we found out that high winds were projected the next day so they were starting the races that day instead. In fact, a race was beginning in 15 minutes! Perfect timing!!
We find a good spot to watch the race and as we listen to the announcer, we hear that Steve David is in this race and is favored to win!
The race was fantastic and Steve David did win! Because he had just finished racing, we weren't able to meet him this time but hope to when he returns in February for another race.
Makes you wonder how they get the boats over there!!! Do they have to ship them by boat?
