Sand Storm

Before we lived in the Middle East, I envisioned a sand storm to be thick and like someone was throwing sand in your face. It turns out I was wrong. It is more like super heavy fog except brown instead of white. You can tell you are breathing in not clean air, but it isn't pelting you in the face.

Esther and I were scheduled to exercise along the Corniche this week and a sandstorm decided to hit. We went anyway and I got some cool pictures. Once you look at them, compare them to the previous post. The pictures are takes from the same place so you can get a real sense of how much the sand blocks the view.
