Natalie got up early on Saturday and made muffins for everyone now that we have a muffin/cupcake pan (thanks Mia!). What a yummy treat to wake up to! She was so proud.
After soccer and baseball for Chase, we ventured out into the desert again to show Mia the Persian Gulf. We had another fantastic, relaxing time driving through the desert, seeing the oasis villa, and playing at the water. It is amazing how much cooler it felt this time then 2 weeks ago. It is still getting to about 98 degrees every day but it feels cool compared to 115 degrees!
We also got to pass by where the camel racing takes place and are excited to go back and check it out closer.
We are still not quite sure what these structures in the middle of the desert are for.... |
More driving practice for all! |
Natalie was especially excited to drive - can you tell!!?? |
Are you sure a 3 year old should be driving??? |
Hunting for cool shells |
Chase and George |
Throwing rocks |
Avery working hard on her rock formation |
What do you think? |
We may not be able to brush this hair for a week!!! |
Natalie's portable drip castle |
The water is SUPER salty here |
Tailgating Arabic style |
Look out, they are talking politics |

Bobby had a little fun jumping on Ken and Esther's trampoline after the day at the beach. :)
This is a RARE day -- Bobby holding a tiny kitten (Esther and Ken's rescue kitty) His allergies will pay for that but the kitten is too cute to resist. |
