We have heard all about a "proper English brunch" from several people from the UK here so we decided to take Carol along and try it out for ourselves last Friday. We reserved a table at the Four Seasons Hotel and headed out with the kids and Esther and Ken and family. (our neighbors from the UK). We had a great time and the food selection was amazing - there was sushi, Arabic food, turkey/mashed potatoes/cranberry sauce, a full array of salads, breads, desserts. The coolest part I thought was an area where a chef was making asian noodles custom to order and then you could add chicken, beef, or veggies with various sauces. Yum! We enjoyed unlimited champagne with brunch which was fun.
They also had an entire section for kids including a chocolate fountain, typical kid foods (french fries, hotdogs, fish sticks, fruit, rice) and even a cotton candy machine. Later on, some people brought out cookie dough and chocolate and the kids could make their own cookie then eat it when it came out of the oven. Needless to say, it was not ideal for a child with diabetes, but lucky for us he doesn't even like cotton candy and ended up saving the cookie to take home and eat another day so we only had to figure in all the chocolate fountain stuff.

Okay, I must admit that I am envious of Carol getting to do all of the fun stuff! Love all the pictures!
